A few drawings I did over the past few weeks. Things have been crazy for me, but I'm finally picking the pen and tablet back up!

The first is a Gogmazios of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate fame.

The second is come channel art [with a few sloppily added in jokes at his fiancee's request]

Simple drawings for some awesome internet pals!

Each took maybe 20 minutes, maybe less as I kept going on and found a groove.

My first attempt at making a Company Logo design!

My DBTC challenge has been little more than practice sketches not very worthy of a portfolio, but they are to serve a purpose soon!

The unwatermarked design is available on shirts here!

Art dump 1!

Some old artwork that I'm still really fond of, that I did ages ago. It's fun seeing different styles I've attempted and improvements I've made!

Various media, including Photoshop, Flash, Physical Media, etc.
Day 4 of DBTC

For some silly reason, my fiancee demanded I draw the goofiest of birds, the blue-footed booby!

Made with Mischief. Not a terribly long time.. maybe half an hour?

Day 2 of the 'Don't Break the Chain' challenge! My lovely kitten, Pandora!

This one is late due to an unusually long day at work, but I did it! More painting without lines practice.

About an hour in Mischief!

The Alraune!

I was watching the Game Grumps recently, and they were talking about how they keep themselves busy in their crafts. Danny is a musician and Arin is an artist, like myself. They both discussed a method that was made famous by Jerry Seinfeld, called "Don't Break the Chain"

Basically, you keep a calendar near your workspace, and you make yourself work on your specific craft for a certain amount of time. Once you do, you mark the day off. Take the time to practice a little. No excuses.

A small calendar is now hanging over my workspace, and I'll be posting a drawing or more every single day, from now on. Period.

This first drawing was done in an hour and a half or so, on Mischief.

I drew a thing for my pal Kao on Tumblr. And, well.. it's her. And she loved it and approved use of it in my portfolio!
It's a little sexy and a lot of cute, and I completely adore how it came out!
